Butter Naan. Butter is quintessential to a delicious naan! Last, but not the least, Naan dough can be made vegan if you replace milk with coconut milk. If it was not for my love of authentic-butter-naan, I would have skipped butter and milk to keep the recipe "vegan" for you.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, yogurt and honey.   3. Prepare normal dough. Not very soft or very hard. Apply som oil on it and put wet cloth on it. Give rest for 1 to 2 hours..
  4. Now make naan. Now apply water on one side with fingers or brush..
  5. Heat the tawa. Now put water side part on tawa. Put flame low. Once bubbles comes up dein high the flame and flip te tawa. Cook it properly from all sides. Hold tawa properly and keep moving it so all sides heat can reach evenly..
  6. Now with knife or spatula take out naan. Apply butter on it..
  7. Serve hot with your favourite sabji or daal..

Its an Indian flat bread that is traditionally cooked in a hot tandoor oven. It can be had plain, brushed with butter, garlic, red pepper flakes, kalonji (onion seeds) or cilantro. It is made in triangular shape, sometimes oval or even round. Butter: and of course a good naan in my opinion has to be brushed with butter once done.
