Recipe: Delicious Naan

Ingredients of Naan

  1. It's 2 cup of maida.
  2. It's 1/2 tsp of salt.
  3. It's 1/2 tsp of baking powder.
  4. It's 1/2 tsp of sugar.
  5. It's 1/2 cup of curd.
  6. It's 2 tbsp of oil.
  7. Prepare 1/2 cup of Luck warm water.

The naan bread are stuck to the inside of the oven just like the picture below. Mix together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in the yogurt till the dough is too stiff for a spoon, then knead it in the bowl till it holds together well, adding more flour if necessary. Using a rolling pin, roll each piece of dough into a teardrop shape, narrower at the top than at the bottom.

Naan instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients into a big bowl except curd. Mix it very well.
  2. Now add curd into it.Knead it at least for 5 minutes and make a soft dough with the help of luck warm water. U will need water for this..
  3. Now rest it into a container for at least 5 hour into a warm place..
  4. Divide the dough into 6-7portions. Keep aside. Now preheat iron tawa. Roll one pirtion. And spread water on one side of maan. Place wet side onto the tawa. When it start poping reverse the tawa on direct flame to cook it onother side..
  5. Serve it hot...
